Locktoberfest Invite

             The frosh team this Saturday faired well with a 5th place finish.  With 4 sophomores running up at the varsity level today many of these young men had to step-up and perform.  They answered the call with a 1 to 5 splits of 32 seconds!!  Leading the way was Joe Carter and Ryan Clevenger, who finished 18th and 21st.  The other members of the frosh squad included John McGinnis(31st, 18:22), John Diamond (42, 18:34), Andrew Adams (45, 18:34), Jeremy Craven (73, 19:18), Rob Riordan (86, 19:34), Zac Christensen (87, 19:35), Dave DelValle (102, 19:56), Dillon Murphy (129, 20:41), Dave Lyda (130, 20:42.  

                The Varsity squad represented with an 8th place finish in this tightly packed 19 team finish.  The following are the scores for the top 10:  Neaqua Valley finished with 80, Buffalo Grove 88, Hinsdale Central 99, Naperville North 114, Plainfield South 146, Plainfield East 166, DGN 170, Lockport 217, DGS 223.  Kevin Proffitt (19, 16:35) was the top finisher for the Trojans, he was closely followed by Ben Eaton (25, 16:42), Zack Smith (30, 16:48), and Jared Spilky (40, 17:01).  The top 5 split for the varsity squad was 55 seconds  with the five man Ryan Zemel (65, 17:30) running a gusty race.  The other varsity finishers included Brendan McBride (70, 17:40), Pat Grogan (71, 17:40), Marc Mathy (76, 17:44), Dan Meinhart (88, 17:59), James Diamond (99, 18:12), Tom Riordan (107, 18:26), Jack Ronan (111, 18:28).

                The Open race team represented North like champs today!  The top finishers in the open race included Ian Correl (24, 18:44), Andrew Noll (28, 18:52), Zachary Smith (36, 19:08), Jacob Carter (37, 19:12), Austin Ruf (39, 19:14), Andrew Murray (46, 19:24), Jackson Stucker (48, 19:28), Jamie Kennedy (49, 19:28), Max Dipple (51, 19:12), and Ethan Chapin (53, 19:32).
