Former Head Cross Country Coach and Assistant Track Coach

Coach Kupisch has been the face of Downers Grove North Cross Country for over 30 years. He has had much success throughout the years, having cross country teams finish as high as 4th place in the IHSA State Meet and his athletes hold many of the distance records on the track & field board. He has lead many young men to success in running, but more importantly he has help young student athletes find themselves and improve themselves personally. He recently completed his 33rd year North High School being a gym/social studies teacher and the majority of those years spent as a counselor. His contributions to the school will be greatly missed! Thanks for all you have done and enjoy your retirement!  Coach Kup will continue to be involved in the team but he will have a lot more time to train for the Burkie this year!
